With Jony Ive leaving Apple, this is another classic case of the re-shifting of an ICONIC design, performance driven Brand losing sight of what made them the most valuable company on the planet.
This is as much about Jony leaving, as to WHY he is leaving Apple.
They have shifted their priorities, and operations has taken the lead from Design, and a Product “Revolution” focus.
I am not saying Operations is not critical to success, it is, but relative to what made this Brand great, its a part of process and not the Lead reason.
Good Luck Jony, and thanks for all you have done to “Put a Dent in the Universe !”
Jony Ive is reportedly leaving Apple over its stifling operations focus
